The March 2006 Meeting of the PTGAH was held at: The Houston Telephone Museum 1714 Ashland Ave. Houston, Tx 77008 (Houston Heights)
Ms. Porter shows the extensive collection of PayPhones (remember them)
The Museum has a great collection of old and working "Turn of the Century (20th)" Switchboards.
The Exhibit is interesting and extensive.
There are all types of old phones (that many of us remember using)
Old Mahogany Phone Booths
All Members present enjoyed the exhibits.
The last we have seen of Andrew is when he dialed Maxwell Smart's secret number and then he disappeared thru the floor of the phone booth.
The PTGAH would like to thank Ms. Porter and her volunteers for the wonderful tour of the Houston Telephone Museum. We encourage all TourGuides to bring their tours for this great venue. You can reach them @ http://houstontelephonemuseum.com/ You may reach them by calling 713-861-9784.
