Lynn is a Certified Professional tour
guide with a special interest in downtown, the museum district, and the
Montrose area. She loves giving walking tours. Presently she is
employed at Reliant Stadium as a tour guide and works in guest services
during events. Her many years experience as a tourist information
specialist at the Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau helped
her to gain an expansive knowledge of the many events and attractions that
make Houston the exciting city it is. She can help design an
interest-specific tour for almost any group, large or small. She also does
meet and greet services.
Lynn has been a Houston Proud volunteer
for over 10 years and was previously a board member. She also
volunteers at the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hobby Center for the
Performing Arts. For the past three years, she has been a docent for
Houston's annual Museum District Day.
She worked with the Amtrak/U. S. Park
Service program, Trails & Rails, during its inception helping to
introduce the program docents to Houston area attractions. Trails
& Rails recently named her an Honorary Docent.
